minus the creepy fog this time
In spite of my lack of a list, I managed to get the puppies packed and off to my sister's last night without incident. I have a hunch that she and her husband will both be more than happy to hand them back over to us on Monday, if only for a break from the squeaking.
Mike and I got on the road today an hour later than we planned, which turned out to be quite fortuitous because it takes two hours less to get to the bed and breakfast than I thought it did. (Apparently pouring rain and inching along a curvy mountain road in a fog bank will double your travel time. Who knew?) Luckily, the owner didn't mind us calling to see if we could show up an hour before check-in, so now we're settled in and ready to do nothing for the next few days.

1. The weather is so perfect we've actually gone out and done touristy stuff.
2. No, you're not a day off - our anniversary is indeed on Earth Day (after I Googled Earth Day to find out when the hell it was).

We're having a fantastic weekend, and I passed along your anniversary greeting. Mike totally doesn't care about wedding presents though, so you're not in danger of being dubbed a total tool.
